La venerable tradición del progreso
Abstract
ABSTRACT Within the scope of this work, Hegel's conception of the future as creation is opposed to the `end of history' of Fukuyama. The progress ideology continues embodied in the radical view which separates the present from the past which gives rise to the European modernity, as of which the historical and social root elimination of the pure rational subject reinforces the lack of prestige of tradition. Tradition needs to be given back its characteristics of genuine experience by means of the appropriating destruction which shall eliminate the negative over understanding around it for 4 centuries. In view of the hyper valuation attributed to the future at the moment, on the other hand, we respect the present again and pay attention to the past patiently: the present is the place where the human praxis stands and the past and future mingle aiming at creating a new reality under greater assumptions. Keywords: History, Progress, Tradition, Historical consciousness, Contingency.Downloads
