Winnicott: A Psychoanalysis of Human Experience in Its Own Becoming

Abstract

This article develops the argument that the concept of experience is a kind of an axis around which Winnicott’s psychoanalysisrotates, in theoretical as well as in clinical level. For that purpose, it describes some fundamental differences between that psychoanalysis – in theory and in clinical practice – and Freud’s and neo-freudian psychoanalysis. At the same time, it points the importance of Winnicott in the author’s psychoanalytical practice.Key-words: experience; primary creativity; sexuality; death instinct; false self; regression; symbolization
