Following the theoretical work of his return to Freud, in which he highlighted the structural clinical tripartite division - neurosis, perversion and psychosis -, Jacques Lacan provided numerous contributions to differential diagnosis. The three psychic registers isolated by the teaching of Lacan - real, symbolic, imaginary - allow for a new diagnostic distinction, in which fundamental fantasy assumes decisive importance.Downloads
