Abstract

Contrary to the widespread idea that intentionality would be important for the young Heidegger, we will show that it was never integrated into his thinking. Intentionality promises a new philosophical investigation, but this possibility will remain a simple and pure promise because it tends to deprive thinking of its own most possibilities. To understand the difficulty and the promise at stake in intentionality, Heidegger will approach it indirectly for he will think it with the aid of a word that is not much discussed in the studies on this author: transposition (Versetzung).
