Abstract

This article shows the meaning of inserting temporality and historicity in existential analysis. Historicity is understood by Heidegger as the happening of beingthere and it is how the temporalization of temporality is most adequately explained. On the other hand, the original temporality is elaborated by Heidegger based on the anticipatory resolution, since the original future is unveiled only from the possibility of death. Heidegger also shows that the horizon for which the projection is made is structured by finite temporality. In addition, the happening of being-there occurs from the anticipatory decision and the concept of destiny. Therefore, while care unifies the ontological aspects of being-there, it is necessary to see these aspects as made possible by time. The primacy of the future in original temporality is thought by Heidegger from the existential possibility. Insofar as the original temporality is temporalized from the future and this is understood in terms of existential possibility, the original temporality will be conceived by Heidegger as finite.
