Abstract

The central hypothesis of this work is that bringing more of Nietzsche to the psychoanalytic field can have important consequences not only at the theoretical level, but also at the clinical level. Its main objective is to explore the confrontation and articulation of key elements in the works of Nietzsche and Freud, analyzing their intersections, differences and complementarities, seeking to bring possible contributions to psychoanalytic theory and practice. From this perspective, it explores the confrontation of their theoretical constructions on the unconscious, psychic apparatus, subject, pulsion, culture, religion and moral, which seem important and promising points of articulation to try to extract lessons and contributions to psychoanalytic theory and practice. The intention is not to question the validity of Freudian theoretical constructs and clinical findings, but to develop a broader perspective on them, whenever possible.
