Abstract

Afrer presenting in outline the essential elements of the Freudian paradigm, the article goes on to describe its crisis as experienced by Winnicott, in order to articulare, in the rhird and last section, some of the most'innovative aspects of the paradigmatic change introduced by Winnicott into the discipline of psychoanalysis.
