Abstract

Abstract: The text deals with the issue of personal identity in Paul Ricoeur. At first, the author's insatisfaction with regards to solutions designed wrthin substantiality and empiric circuit is presented. Especially discussed is his evaluation of the empiric solution as seen in Locke, Hume and Parfit. Later, shown is the manner by which the notion of narrative as that element that best fits the resolution of the problem of personal identity will be introduced.
