The present article discusses in which sense, to Lacan, the speech of the analyst renews the "question of knowledge", such as it was proposed by philosophical tradition, in terms of a speech, which Lacan denominated as "master's speech". Unlike philosophical tradition, which deviates from the "upset" resulting from the finitude of the knowledge task, the analyst elevates the "upset" to the criticism of knowledge condition.Downloads
